Be careful detecting in forests in Europe, things that go "boom" still lurk.

Before the war the Czechs built fortresses all along the border for defence. However, like the French and those in Northern Europe, all of whom were brave nations, they were overrun by the German Wehrmacht and never stood a chance of defending themselves in time. Most of the bunkers still stand and can be visited and explored any time. My gang and I visit and camp at them every summer.
